I left my job in Boston almost twenty years ago so I could move out to Monhegan Island, Maine, and learn to paint en plein air; from life.

Next I went to Round Pond, just in shore from the island, to practice. Here I have stayed.

I paint with a limited palette on driftwood and old barn boards.

I’ve experienced so many wonders of nature while standing at my easel and have had every type of human contact you can imagine.

I paint every day but my best times are while I’m along the shore catching the morning light hitting the rocks, boats, and trees and reflecting on the sea.

Painting is great way to slow down and take in life slowly.

I sell paintings so I can keep doing it, but I show them myself so I can feel love.
